Common Guidelines To Be Followed During Online Exams.
For every exam, there are certain guidelines to be followed by the candidates for smooth conduct of the exam. Candidates should be provided with detailed recommended specifications; if you are planning to conduct an online proctored exam.
Here are a few common do’s and don’ts in an online exam for your candidates,
1. Do’s for the candidates:
- Ensure that there is proper lighting in the room.
- The candidate needs to have an in-built or an external webcam and microphone.
- Ensure to be alone during the exam.
- Ensure there is no internet connectivity or any other technical issues.
- Ensure that is no background noise and have a plain background.
- Ensure to not have any electronic gadgets around you.
- Ensure to have extra sheets for your rough work.
- Read all the guidelines of the exam, before starting to take the exam.
- Ensure to enter the exam at least 15 minutes prior to the actual time of the exam.
2. Don’ts for the candidates:
- Do not move away from the webcam range.
- Do not cover your face with a mask.
- Do not try to navigate from the exam screen.
- Do not share your screen or the questions via any means.
- Do not consume anything during the exam.
- Do not try to retake the exam, unless you were instructed to do so.
- Do not exit the exam before the exam time.
- Do not take the exam being in an informal position or attire.
