Teachers time and New Tech
Last year I talked to a lot of teachers in US. Most of the teachers shared that they are very busy and tired and there have been a change in LMS in our school.
Today, this tweet surfaced while researching on their problems.
This tweet reminded me of the impact of the changes on teachers. How frustrating and complicated it makes their simplest tasks like creating a quiz.
They have a time crunch
They are constantly researching on teaching material
Learning a new Tech completely puts them out of their comfort zones.
But every coin has two sides and technology too is a double edged sword.
There are teachers who get intimidated by technology and then there are teachers who leverage the power of technology to make their lives easier.
I recently interviewed a teacher who uses in-class proctoring to take tests. It saves time and energy both for her which she then spends on giving personal attention to her students.
